What’s new in iMindQ 7.0? Organize your researched information
In iMindQ®, you can search an information on the web in the same time as you are creating your map. As
you type specific terms in the map, iMindQ Research searches the information instantly and present to
you in the preview window. If you need to search additional information for an existing topic, just select
it and open the Research Panel. iMindQ will do the rest for you.
You can filter your search by choosing one of the available search options:
Google Search
Google Images
OpenClipart
To do that, you shall open the Research Panel, positioned on the right side of the application window. The
research panel is consisted of the following options:
Backward and Forward options to switch between already made searches;
Choose the desired search service: Google Search, Google Images, OpenClipart or
Twitter;
Type what you search for in the edit box positioned in the top of the Research Panel;
Preview of the searched results;
Drag and drop desired content from the search results to the topics in the map space.
Develop different unconnected ideas in one map space One mind map with one central idea, displayed in the middle, shall not be a limiting factor when working
or discussing unconnected ideas. Further development of those ideas in a mind map, enables you to create
multiple mind maps around different central ideas, without the need to be interconnected. This can help
specifically when holding braninstorming session for generating ideas for new product or new services,
for improving a specific product, process etc. During the brainstorming session these ideas are generated
as floating ideas, in iMindQ known as Floating topics. If you further need to develop an idea into
subcategories, simply change the Topic Structture to any desired Topic Structure and start working on
them.
Share your interactive map with others on blogs, websites and social
medias When you want to present or share your ideas, visualized as a mind map, you should use the new export
of the mind map as interactve HTML Map. You can share your interactive HTML map with others on blogs,
websites and social medias. The interactive Map enables you to present all its content or parts of it,
depending on which information you’d like to share. The mind map can be zoomed, each branch can be
collapsed or expanded and you can present the creation of the map as an an animated story.
Enrich topic explanations in Notes with images and tables Visualization of data is more memorable than anything else. When something is presented in a different
way, rather than simple paragraph text, it is easier for people to recall. While creating maps, you add
additional descriptions and explanations in the Notes Editor for a specific topic. Now you can add images
and tables, and customize their size and look. This way, when you need to recall a more detailed
information just by making a glance at it, you are just a click away.
Present your ideas and additional information in uninterruptible way While you are presenting your maps, you might come to the point to present certain information in the
map in other applications. In iMindQ there is no need to close the presentation, just click on the necessary
information displayed as link or attachment, view it in the default application and once you’re finished,
you can continue your presentation from where you’ve stopped.
When you have the need to show additional information regarding a topic, entered for a certain topic in
the map, you can do that without interrupting your presentation. The additional information from the
Topic Notes will be displayed in a pop up window, and once you are finished with viewing or showing the
desired information, you close the window and continue with your presentation.
Faster Map Creation with the new Map Parts In a busy world, time is precious for everybody. In iMindQ® there are Map Parts, which you might need
for faster creation of regularly used maps. The Map Parts are now organized in folders, depending on your
need (Business, General and Personal).
Give meaning to data in Topic Spreadsheet To give a more in-depth meaning to data entered in a table, you need to use calculation operations in
order to analyze it. In iMindQ, you can do this by using the formulas available in the spreadsheet added
to a topic.
