Marty MacDonald needs your help! He’s looking after hisuncle’s farm but Old MacDonald has left things in a mess – theanimals have gone on holiday, the farmyard is topsy-turvy andthe crafty crows are eating the crops in front of his eyes! HelpMarty, Pongo the Pig, Molly-Moo the Cow and Sheena theSheep as they work together to find a way to rescue the cornand save their farm…
Come and join in the adventure, make new friends and singalong to your favourite songs & nursery rhymes, in a live andinteractive theatre show with bags of fun and laughter, downon Marty MacDonald’s Farm!

Play Me, I’m Yours Appetite Presents1 - 31 August
This summer Stoke-on-Trentwill follow in the footsteps ofNew York, Paris and Londonin a world class street musicproject by British artist LukeJerram.

Smash Hit West End Musical The Phantom of the Opera
Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra byGaston Leroux, it tells the story of a masked figure that lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command.
Its sensational score includes Think of Me, Angel of Music, Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Masquerade and the title song.
An amateur youth production by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd.

Inspired by RJ Mitchell’s Spitfire design, this site specific installation contains hundreds of traditional origami paper planes made over the summer holidays by visitors to Mitchell Arts Centre.
Out of the DarknessIan PearsallFri 26 September - Sat 29 November
Local artist Ian Pearsall explores the architecturally significant buildings that are the heritage and legacy of the massive industries: Coal, Pottery and Steel, that placed Stoke-on-Trent on the World Map.

Spitfire Cafe Bar
The Spitfire Cafe Bar is a friendly place to meet friends, family or business colleagues close to the City Centre in Hanley. Pop in for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake or sample our delicious lunch dishes. Relax in our armchairs with a book from our book swap librabry, or connect to our free wifi to keep in touch whilst out and about.

Meeting Rooms
Mitchell Arts Centre has two fantastic meeting rooms available to hire, from smaller intimate meetings in the board room to larger events up to 50 people in the main meeting room. The venue offers a professional creative location in the city centre with free parking.
Dance Studio & Auditorium Hire
A professional dance studio at the heart of the city, with sprung floor, ballet barres and full length mirrors is available to hire per hour.
The beautifully restored auditorium seats up to 304, but can also offer flexible spaces for smaller studio theatre up to 50.
