All 4-H & FFA Delaware County Fair AND 4-H State Fair youth
exhibitors with projects in beef, swine, dairy (cattle & goat),
sheep, meat goat, poultry and rabbit departments MUST be FSQA
or Youth PQA Plus certified for 2014.
If you certified in 2013 by attending an FSQA class, you must recertify
again this year.

the perimeter of the Dance
Pavilion. They are 6 feet deep
and 6 feet wide with pegboard
backs and sides. Each space will
have a table in the back with
possibly a bench for additional
display area. Hall trees could be
used to display clothing exhibits
or posters, and boxes could be
covered for extra display space.
Very large exhibits and State Fair,
Considered for State Fair and
Junior Outstanding exhibits will be
displayed together in special
booth with the prize being an ice
cream party for the winning club.
FSQA TRAINING DATES

entry form to bring when you
check in the animal at the
county fair via e-mail. Look
for this e-mail in mid June. If
you notice problems, contact

Youth in Action Food Drive
Youth in Action is hosting a Food
Drive this year. The group will
collect items throughout Fair week.
If you need ideas of what the food
pantry is in need of please contact
the Delaware County Extension
needs in our community! Each club
is asked to bring 15 items!
Youth in Action Fun Day Youth in Action is hosting a
Summer 4-H Fun Day. This will be
held at Bailey’s Ford Park on June
29. The event starts at 1 and goes
until 4pm. There will be volleyball,
soccer, kickball, a scavenger hunt,
s’mores and much more! This event
is open to all 4-Her’s. Please join
the Youth in Action for this fun
event!

privilege of charging food at the fair.
Parents or the responsible adult who
will be paying the account must
complete the application at the
Delaware County Extension Office in
person. At that time, they must list
all persons who will be able to charge
on that account.
by July 2. No accounts will be set
up at the county fair.
Bills must be paid by December 1,
2014 or the charge account will not
be approved next year.

The Delaware County Fair is seeking candidates to serve as 2014 Delaware County Fair Royalty! Applications are due Friday, June 13, 2014, and the pageant will be held at the Community Center on Monday, June 30 at 4:00 pm. A workshop for all candidates covering interview skills, public speaking, attire, and presentation will be held at the Community Center at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17. Application materials can be picked up at the fair office or found online at www.delawarecofairroyalty.webs.co
m.
