Hackers will hack your HVAC
Simply put: if your vendors, customers, or partners have
too much access to your critical data, they will become an
attack vector. Target discovered this to their chagrin, and
they will have plenty of company in 2015.
4
…and the rest of your supply chain.
Heartbleed is still bleeding
Vulnerabilities in open source code continue to propagate. These issues
remain unpatched in a troubling multitude of networks, and in 2015, these
bugs will really start to bite.

One last big run on credit cards
2015 will herald the US implementation of the EMV “chip and pin” credit card
system. This is technically great news, as this system is expected to
dramatically clamp down on credit card fraud. With fraudsters experiencing
their last hurrah, expect card crime to spike.
6
AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE NOT VALID UNLESS SIGNED DO NOT WRITE YOUR PIN ON THIS CARD
Some good news for a change!
7
Your security tools will work in the cloud
Cloud security providers are beginning to feel your pain. In 2015,
Amazon and other providers will provide toolsets allowing identity
management, encryption tools, content filtering and policy
monitoring, among others.
8
Malware is tricky – change a single line of code, and it can avoid signature-based
detection. Threat Intelligence vendors intend to change all that, with an expanding
number of third parties who can integrate threat data directly into your system.
9
You’ll know who’s got you in their crosshairs
Have a secure and happy 2015!
