EnduranceTBW – Total Bytes Written – The total number of bytes written, typically specified in terabytes (TB) or petabytes (PB), that a drive can sustain throughout its life based on a specific workload, such as 100% 4K random writes (Micron, Samsung) or JESD219 (Intel), but can be specified at any/all workloads
DWPD – Drive Writes per Day – The number of times, per day, that the full user capacity of a drive can be written throughout its warranty based on the TBW of the drive (also called Drive Fills per Day)
TBW is a measured metric, while DWPD is a relative metric

What is Micron´s Flex Capacity Feature? Flex Capacity allocates a percentage of an SSD´s available space to improve performance and drives writes per day
at the reduced capacity by making more space exclusively available to the SSD controloer for various management functions.
Flex Capacity is the ability not only to overprovision an SSD, but to know how many drive writes per day and the performance you man encounter at different levels of overprovisioning.

The 5210, 5300, 7300 and 9300 Product families support this advanced feature.
What problem does Flex Capacity solve? Flex capacity can tune drive performance and DWPD to changing enterprise workloads.
Higher OP percentage lowers write amplification which lengthens the life of NAND, increases performance and DWPD
