– SAMLv2

– LDAP

– Remedy SSO authentication or Local user authentication

• Remedy SSO replaces the Atrium Single Sign-On (Atrium SSO) used in previous

TrueSight Capacity Optimization 11.0

Phased upgrades from earlier versions

The installation program for the TrueSight Capacity Optimization components supports direct upgrades from the latest two versions of the product.

It is recommended that you apply latest patches for the current release prior to performing an upgrade. It is important to remember that any upgrades involving custom views must upgrade to 10.7.01 before upgrading to 11.0.

• You can use the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Installer to upgrade from version 10.5 or 10.7 to 11.0.

• If you are using 10.3, first upgrade to 10.7 before upgrading to version 11.0.

• If you are using 10.0, first upgrade to 10.5 before upgrading to version 11.0.

• If you are using version 9.5 or earlier, you must upgrade to version 10.3 before upgrading to version 10.7.

The following slides illustrate special considerations for phase upgrade for AS, EE, GWS, TSPS and Capacity Agents.




User authentication migration

There are three types migration considerations for user authentication in this

release:

Migrating deployments with local authentication

Migrating deployments with LDAP authentication

Migrating deployments with Atrium Single Sign-On authentication

Note:

The migration options are required in order to access both TrueSight Capacity

Console and TrueSight Console.




Custom View Migration

• Any customer who has custom views that are on Capacity Optimization console

that they want to continue to use must complete the following required steps.

1. Upgrade to TSCO 10.7.01

2. Review the existing custom view to identify the data marts, analysis or models

used to create the view.

3. Identify and select the view page templates that you need to create the required

custom view.

4. Configure the required view page templates, data marts and models.
