• Mop the floor instead of washing.

• Repair the leaking taps or inform the elders.

• Solid food remains should be thrown in the dustbin

• Cooking oils & fats should not be thrown down the drain – blocks the drain

• Chemicals like paints, solvents, medicines kill microbes that purify water
