He is a former Fulbright Fellow and was a visiting professor at Qatar University in Doha, and the Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus. Mohamad’s areas of research include the Arab-Israeli conflict, US policy toward the Muslim world and Islamist movements across the region. CIS is committed to a diverse, equable and inclusive campus environment. This event is part of an on-going series of discussions to enhance awareness about diversity, equity and inclusion issues. Dr. Husam Mohamad is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a former Fulbright Fellow and was a visiting professor at Qatar University in Doha, and the Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus.
