* There is a function on DVDs that you can switch off the subtitles and watch it without any subtitles.

2.Go abroad

* The best way to learn English is to go to abroad live in that country for awhile ,and get used to the culture.

* Have an English boyfriend or girlfriend because that really makes you learn English a lot faster.

3.Radio

* You can choose an English language program from the radio such as ICRT.

4.CDs and MP3* CDs or MP3 have one really great

advantage. You can play it again and again.

• If there are subtitles ,you can cover them with paper.

• You can listen your MP3 anywhere. It is very convenient.

5.Friends * Go to church and try to make new friends

with English-speaking people so that you

can practice your English through conversation.

Of course ,this will practice your speaking as well as your listening.
