   There   are   many   types   of   events,   from   the   evening   meeting   to   the   breakfast  meeting  or   the   team-­building  meeting.  Choose   the  one   that  best   fits   your  goals  and  your  target.  For  example,  if  you  want  to  invite  your  clients,  you  might  prefer  an  evening  event  or  a  dinner  in  order  to  really  impress  them  and  entice  them  to  buy   your   products.   Conversely,   if   you  want   to  motivate   your   troops,   opt   for   a  seminar  or  team  building  event,  ideal  for  employee  bonding.    Here  is  a  list  describing  certain  types  of  events:      Workshop:  A  short  informational  or  interactive  event.  

Buffet   or   banquet:   An   event   of   variable   size,   which   includes   a   speech   or  presentation,  and  utilizes  a  caterer  for  a  standing  or  seated  meal.      

Conference   or   seminar:   A   major   event   lasting   several   days   and   occupying  several  rooms  where  attendees  discuss  a  variety  of  topics  or  hear  a  talk.  

Ceremony:   An   event   honoring   specific   people.   The   participants   are   usually  seated  in  rows,  and  the  honored  guests  are  presented  on  a  stage.  

Concert:  A  short  event  lasting  a  few  hours  requiring  specific  facilities,  generally  larger  spaces.    

Exposition:   An   event   that   takes  place   in   a   large   space   to   allow  participants   to  view  items  mounted  on  the  walls.    

Launch:  An  event,  usually  of  short  duration,  requiring  an  open  space  conducive  to  presenting  to  the  general  public  and  in  which  the  media  and  VIPs  sometimes  participate.  

Reception:   A   social   event   of   variable   scope   at   which   the   guests   are   often  standing  and  refreshments  are  generally  served.  

Meeting:   A   small   or   medium   sized   gathering   that   generally   takes   place   in   a  conference  room.  

Team  Building:  An  event  specifically   for  employees,   to   foster  the  development  of  group  cohesion  and  team  spirit.  

The   events   may   take   different   forms   and   may   be   modeled   according   to   your  goals  and  your  expectations.
