• MAYBE IT SHOULD BE ‘SCOTT-KINS’ GLEN: When it comes to Indy car races at Watkins Glen International, there’s no better driver than Scott Dixon. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver has four wins in seven previous visits to the historic road circuit and will look to put his championship destiny in his own hands with another strong performance on the 3.37-mile circuit.

• WELCOME BACK, JACK: Rookie Jack Harvey returns to the Verizon IndyCar Series this weekend with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. The English driver, who finished second in Indy Lights in 2014 and 2015, made his series debut with Andretti Autosport with Michael Shank Racing in May. He makes the first of two road course starts this weekend.

• FANTASY FOCUS: Scott Dixon will be the popular pick this weekend among Fantasy owners, but here are a few more to team with the four-time champ. Ryan Hunter-Reay and Will Power have won races at the Glen while Marco Andretti and Tony Kanaan have been strong at the track in the past. If you’re looking for value, Conor Daly and Sebastien Bourdais are affordable and finished in the top-five a year ago.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR THIS WEEKEND:

NEWGARDEN GROWS HIS POINTS LEAD: With his third win in the last four races, Josef Newgarden has taken control of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series championship. The Team Penske driver holds a 31-point lead over Scott Dixon with only two races remaining. Can he keep his hot streak alive at Watkins Glen?
