Exhibition-goers are introduced to two sets of characters – four from the 1960s, and another four from 2030 – through a short film.

A newspaper press prints three sets of newspapers from 1965, 2015 and 2030. The first set shows Singapore’s beginnings and how its people lived then, and the last set shows what Singapore could be.

The next short film shows the four characters from 2030 on their way home. It depicts what Singapore’s underground and aboveground spaces, road systems, and flora and fauna could be like in the future.

Viewers can walk through the third dome and peer inside blocks depicting a scenario in a school, a home, and an office in the future.

This dome is modelled to look like a galaxy and its star system. Exhibition-goers are encouraged to have a quiet moment here to think about what they have seen, and pen their thoughts on what they can do for Singapore’s future.

Out of the fourth dome, the viewers will see a 4m-tall model of a lion looking out – representing Singapore’s journey into the future, and how its people can get involved by turning dreams into reality.
