CHILDHOOD SONG

My childhood song was ‘Reach for the stars’ by S Club 7. The reason this was my childhood song is because it is a pop song which aimed for a child centred approach.

I remember this song being played at primary school discos which were held at the end of each term. This made me enjoy this song even more as I was hearing it a lot around school and at the disco’s.

GROWING UP SONG

The song I came into secondary school enjoying was ‘Apple bottom jeans’ by T – Pain. The reason I enjoyed this song is because it maintained the up beat tone like S Club 7 had but was more grown up as It is a hip hop song aimed at early teens.

CURRENT SONG

My favourite song has to be ‘Treasure’ by Bruno Mars. The reason behind this is because it is an extremely up beat song that you can sing along to even if you are not 100% sure of the lyrics. Another reason I enjoy it is because it’s genre is pop so maintains the joyful manner and I consider myself as a joyful, happy person.
