Growth QuestionsThese questions are meant to help you apply Sunday’s message to your life personally and to help others – like the people in a Growth Group – do the same. Can being honest and vulnerable about your life be intimidating? Is it OK to struggle and have real questions? The answer to both questions is “Yes.” So, a Growth Group is meant to be a safe place where we help anyone know, love and serve Jesus better. If you’re not in one, you can sign up online and then just show up. If you missed this or any message, you can go to our website, iTunes or our youTube page.

1. How powerful is the tendency in human beings to try to be “good people” to make ourselves acceptable to God and why?

2. Explain how that tendency has worked itself out in your life personally.

3. Explain what things you’ve turned to for peace instead of grace, why and what the result was.

4. Read Luke 18:9-14. Which person in the story is an example of the Christianity you’ve seen most & what was the effect of that in people’s lives? (just to clarify, the first guy was not justified / saved).

5. Write out a … email me Hi if you read this ([email protected]).
