The religious leaders of the time wondered how this could be, and noted the men had been with Jesus.

If He accomplished so much in three short years, imagine the possibilities that lie dormant, waiting for our leadership.

Return to the Lord - Joel 2:13

THIS IS WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!Connections: Many Ascension members already have connections with other community organizations and chose to invest their Return to the Lord gifts through partnerships, including Youth on Their Own (YOTO) Ascension Church and Ascension School. Parents who experienced the sorrow, pain, and joy of a premature son, shared their Return to the Lord gift with Extra Life which gives financial support to the Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Two donations meant a lot to Vicky W, with In Touch Ministry, who has 4 adopted teenage girls in South Sudan. A whole ChristCare group sponsored a single-mom scholarship through ICS for one month.God bless these connections!

Homemade notecard sent to family with 1 yr old so who is in hospital with a septic hip. Asher has required surgery, IV, antibiotics, and is relearning how to crawl, sit, and walk. Both parents work full time and live a distance from the hospital.

SANCTITY of LIFE DECISIONS

1. Afraid and confused, the pregnant sixteen-year-old thinks abortion is the only answer.

2. He agreed to pay for his girlfriend's abortion. Then he realized this was their child. But it was too late, the abortion had taken place. He is filled with guilt and grief.

3. The abortion haunts her. Her regret seems unbearable. She wonders how Jesus could possibly forgive this sin.

4. His wife's stroke put her in a wheelchair. Her speech is slurred. She drools. He wonders what would be so wrong with ending her suffering with assisted suicide.

5. Every day in this country nearly 3,000 babies—that God created, redeemed, and wants to call—die in an abortion.

We have things upside down if we think the Church should not speak to matters of the heart. And we have what it takes to do so—the powerful and positive heart-changing message of the Gospel! May we never withhold it from those who desperately need it spoken to their hearts.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all those who donated to the TWIN PEAKS SNACK DRIVE! I received a note from the school counselor stating that all the teachers and students so appreciated the wonderful snacks and that

no child went without!God has so richly blest our church with this

opportunity to serve. PRAISE BE TO GOD!

We have the option to make choices ourselves or with the help of God.

Lord, Give me a servant's heart, not serving for my own glory, but only so that you might be

seen in me.
