Layout•C

olour scheme – should be only a few colours (apparently around three) and easy on the eyes.

•Alignment – the sections, images and textboxes on the site should be aligned properly. It’s hard to look at wonky things.

•Size of the sections and pages should be a reasonable size. Not too big. You shouldn’t have to scroll for ages to get to the bottom of the page.

•Logos and images shouldn’t either be too small or too big.

•Text and images should not overlap.

•Distance between images so they’re not too close together, no blue outlines.

•No flashing images or GIFs (pronounced GIF not JIF, thanks.)

Layout – the continued saga: clarity.Don’t have too many flashy things.

Keep on topic. Don’t ramble on about unrelated things.
