• The right of a stockholder to vote on matters of corporate policy and who will make up the board of directors. Voting often involves decisions on issuing securities, initiating corporate actions and making substantial changes in the corporation's operations.

-Everyone contributes to a larger fund, those that need the fund then use it.

-Mandate = Required by Law
-Today it is required by law that all U.S. Citizens have health insurance.
Healthcare Choice
-Before the new law, people had the choice to risk having no insurance for medical expenses.
-Should a person be able to chose whether or not to purchase healthcare insurance?

Neutrality
-U.S. neutrality is the isolation (noninvolvement) in other countries and the focus on domestic (internal) issues.
Assistance and Intervention-The idea of globalism- what affects one country trickles into another, especially with economic trade.
-The U.S. offers military, financial, and humanitarian aid to many other countries.
-This keeps the U.S. in certain standing with other countries and helping them with development, therefore potentially helping the U.S., although at a cost.
