What is the purpose of life? What is the chief end of man?

To glorify God and enjoy Him forever

1 Cor 10:31 - So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Isaiah 43:7 - 7 everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.“

John 8:50 - I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.

Romans 3:23 – defines sin in relationship to God’s glory – 3for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

How do I live for God’s Glory? What kind of magnifying do you do?

A microscope magnifies an image so that a very small object is made to appear much larger than it really is.

A telescope magnifies an image so that a large object appears more like the size it really is.

Are we to be magnifying glasses or a telescope? Why?

We are called to magnify God like a telescope magnifies God.
