Shush Solace Range™ is a sound absorbing panel range which is available as

ceiling suspended rafts, baffles and wall panels.

Shush Solace Range™ is ideal for areas with reflective walls and ceilings to

absorb the echo and reverberation offering an excellent acoustic performance.

Thanks to the high technology base core material, the Shush Solace Range™

can be easily mounted to walls and ceilings to reduce the reverberation in any

area. The panels are ideally used in areas such as community halls, schools,

offices, village halls, class rooms, church halls, restaurants etc.

What is Shush Solace Range™?

Shush Solace Range™ acoustic panels are

sound absorbing rafts, baffles and wall

panels used in areas where there is a high

echo and reverberation environment.

The panels are implemented on the ceiling

or walls to absorb the echo and make the

area acoustically comfortable.

Shush Solace Range™ Panels are white

speckled painted with Class A acoustic

performance. With a range of sizes and

shapes, you are able to create that specific

design that is always required.

Technical

CLEANING

Light dirt marks may be removed by using a moist cloth.

A small area should be tested before doing the rest

of the area to ensure that the surface is not adversely

affected.

FIRE

Shush Solace Range™ fiberglass has been tested

and offers Class 0 fire rating to BS476: Part 6 & 7.

WEIGHT

Our Shush Solace Panels weigh in at 4.5kg/m2.

Note: All weights are given as approximations.

CUTTING

Shush Solace Panels can be cut with a stanley knife and

the edges can be painted with a white emulsion paint.

Shush Solace Raft™ acoustic rafts are designed to achieve the highest acoustic performance without sacrificing on

style. The rafts are designed to absorb sound and enables to achieve the optimum level of acoustic comfort, prevent

echo and reverberation and ensures enhanced speech intelligibility.

The rafts can be used in many types of applications such as offices, schools, hospitals, restaurants, retail and leisure.

Shush Solace Raft™ not only allows one to achieve excellent acoustic results but also superb visual characteristics to

enhance the dynamics and appearance of any room.

Our Shush Solace Raft™ acoustic rafts are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. The 40mm thick panels are

white emulsion paint with a speckled finish and offers CLASS A acoustic performance.

Shush Solace Raft™ acoustic rafts provides acoustic treatment to areas using thermal mass construction by enabling

the air to flow freely in the room.

The installation time for our Shush Solace Raft™ panels is quick and easy. In fact,

it does not require a specialist fitter to carry out the installation. The acoustic rafts

are simply suspended by steel cables from the soffit by means of special spiral

hooks which are fitted into the reverse of the raft by means of clockwise rotation.

Height level adjustment can be carried out by manipulating the length of each

cable to suit when it is inserted into the eyelet hook. Shush Solace Raft™ can

be set at an angle if required to increase design and aesthetic properties.

The spiral hooks should be placed approx. 200mm in from the edge of the

Shush Solace Raft™.

Our suspension kit includes spiral hook, 2m cable and eyelet hook.

Shush Solace Baffle™ is a lightweight acoustic baffle manufactured from high density fibre glass with a

white emulsion painted with excellent sound absorption characteristics. Our baffles come in a standard size of

1200 x 600 x 40mm and 1200 x 300 x 40mm. They are frameless by design to offer a pleasing aesthetic alternative

to the common suspended ceiling system. They have a plain white speckled painted surface which ensures good

light reflection and are used in high activity noisy environments.

Shush Solace Baffle™ provides superb acoustic performance whilst allowing the concrete soffit to be fully exposed

for energy-efficient natural cross ventilation cooling. The baffles offer a dual function of acting as solar shading by

diffusing natural daylight from the reflective surface in large atria applications.

InstallationThe installation method for our Shush Solace Baffle™ is easy and quick. In fact, it does not require a specialist fitter to

Each Shush Solace Baffle™ will be supplied with 2 suspension kits. The spiral hooks should be inserted approx. 150mm

from the edge of the baffle. These should be cork screwed into the edge of the baffle, making sure the spiral does not

appear on the face of the baffle.

Our hanging kit includes spiral, 2m cable and eyelet hook.

can change the aesthetics of a room as well as making it acoustically correct. Shush Solace Wall Panel™ is applied to

the wall with impaling clips and Shush Bond contact adhesive.

InstallationEnsure all wall surfaces to which the panel will be applied to are clean and dry. Panels can be fixed to most surfaces

including concrete, plasterboard and block work providing they are solid. Wallpaper should be removed. Gloss paint

roughened. Emulsion paint brushed with a stiff brush. The panel is simply applied to the wall by using our impaling clips

and Shush Bond adhesive.

Panels must be checked for colour shading differences, flaws, defects or damage prior to installation. Once installation

has been commenced, the panels are deemed to have arrived in perfect condition – any of the above

reported after installation will not be covered by your warranty.

Lightly trace the panel edges onto the desired installation area. Then suitably and securely fix the appropriate number

of clips using screws. Spray Shush Bond™ contact adhesive vertically onto the panels reverse surface and horizontally

onto the desired installation area. Be sure to spray over the clips with Shush Bond™. Shush Bond™ should be applied to

100% of the surface area on both surfaces. After waiting for the adhesive to dry (2-5 minutes at 23°C) carefully align the

panel to the marked area and push gently - allowing the clip spikes to bite into the panel. Once confident with the panel

positioning, press firmly over the entirety of the surface and ensure maximum contact has been made with the wall.
