WORSHIP

WIKIpedia begins their definition of

worship, "Worship is an act of religious

devotion usually directed towards adeity." As Christians, we profess that their

is only one God and that He alone is

worthy to be worshiped. But often in our

practical lives that phrase "usuallydirected towards a deity," belies our

tendency to make many things but Godinto a deity by worshiping those other

things. Wealth, power, prestige, fame,

even family, and church, can distract usinto taking the worship due to the only

God and giving it to these other things:Re-making these other things into gods

and denying the reality that there is only

one God. Only you can determine to whoor what you give your worship. Be sure

that your life is spent in worshiping theOne and only True God.
