What is important in Life? Morals or Success?

I was recently asked if Moral values were important or Success? It seems that all around us we see that those whoare unscrupulous, those resorting to cheating, bribery, theft, scandals, eploitation of others are the ones who aresuccessful! "oes this mean that only those who are immoral are successful?

I would like to #uote Swami $ivekananda % &either money pays, nor name, nor fame, nor learning' it is

()*+*(-+ that can cleave through the adamantine walls of difficulties!. his is true when it is said that if wealthis lost, nothing is lost' if health is lost, something is lost' but if character is lost, everything is lost!

Money has become the living motto for most people! hey will go to any etreme to attain this end! he means donot matter! hese people are living a dead eistence where relationships have no significance! /nfortunately themodern educational system is making people more selfish and greedy! Swami $ivekananda said .0ring light to theignorant, and more light to the educated, for the vanities of the education of our time are tremendous!.

)istory is replete with characters, to whom ()*+*(-+ was more important than wealth! Mahatma 1andhi,Martin Luther 2ing, "alai Lama, Mother here3a etc! to name 4ust a few! here is place in this world for moralissues and ideas! "o not be carried away by what you see around you! 5ur ancestors taught us long cherishedvalues that are significant in the world even today!

6ou may be a successful "octor, engineer, lawyer, administrator' but are you a successful human being? 7inally

it is human values like love, compassion, peace, truthfulness, honesty that determine your true worth! Would yourather be ruled by deceit, greed, violence, dishonesty?

Moral values are important as these help guide your life, rather than your life being controlled by bad habits,accidental occurrences, impulses and selfish motives! Morals can inspire, motivate and guide, giving energy toyour life! It also gives us self8esteem!

moral values!!!!! my ass...they change from time to time just few years ago even wearing jeans(by girls) was considered

immoral.as long as you are not realy hurting anyone nothing is immoral.even lying is not immoral.success is more

important than immorality.
