better understanding of who you are as a person and a worker.

Let’s look at 2 types of references

Character Reference

• Also known as a personal reference, a character reference is a someone who will vouch for your personal character.

Professional Reference

• A professional reference is someone who will vouch for your work experience.

• Examples: A supervisor where you worked A supervisor where you volunteered A family you baby-sat for Neighbours who have hired you to shovel their

driveway or mow their lawns
