How to use- Check if the components/parts are complete and are functioning properly.- Connect the smartphone to the “NineX case”- Fit the NineX400 product onto the case’s rear camera part.- Place the sample you want to observe on the lower stage.- Start the camera smartphone apps.(all camera apps supported)- Turn on the smartphone light.- Focus on the lower stage by slightly turning the lens left or right. (The focal length can be adjusted using the adjustment screw on the stage.)- You can use the digital zoom function of the camera (up to 400× digital zoom function supported).
Used Example
NineX 400 is applied to a smartphone using the “NineX case”. You can use the digital zoom function of your smartphone’s camera(up to 400× zoom function supported). Without using an expensive microscope, you can easily get high-magnification,microscope images. Three types of smartphone lighting can be used: direct illumination(opaque sample), under illumination
(transparent sample), and polarizing illumination. Using the adjustment screw on the stage, the focal length can be adjusted. Enables easy management of the generated images by leveraging the built in photo management capabilities of your smartphone.
By mounting a filter in accordance with the sample, a special sample observation can be made. (IR filter, UV filter, color filter, etc.)

The NineX-Image coupler is flexible instruments that uses a coherent fiber bundle to transmit an image back to thesmartphone screen. The NineX-Image coupler is applied to a smartphones using the “NineX case” Images can beeasily obtained without using an expensive fiberscope(endoscope). Illumination using the smartphone’s built-inLED and optical fiber. How to use
- Check if the components/parts are complete and are functioning properly.- Connect the smartphone to the NineX case.- Fit the lens onto the smartphone case’s rear camera lens.- Start your camera smartphone app. (all camera apps supported)- Point the lens at the desired object and start auto focusing. (Used Guide part)- Image is clearly visible distance 25~50mm. (Not use to Guide part) - You can use the digital zoom function of the camera: 8× zoom function supported.- When in a dark lighting conditions, use the devices built in light.
NineX Closeup has achieved macro lens using a smartphone. NineX40(80) is boasts a fine, high-magnification observable range, but NineX-Closeup enables wider-portion observation with low magnification(2~8x). In conjuncion with the existingsmartphone, NineX-Closeup can make the focal length shorter. In other words, it is an auxiliary lens that enables one to get a close look of an object. It is used primarily to get a close-up of small objects. It comes with a guide part for the use of the illumination unit and of the smartphone, and makes easy shooting possible.By using the guide part, the focal length can be kept constant and can be accessed with
a magnifier. Glare can be prevented by installing a 45˚ prism to the lighting part instead of going directly to the object.Easy management of visual materials as it is an original function of the smartphone’s camera.
