So what does that mean...

QEP is a five-year action and implementation plan, designed to enhance student learning and further enhance the mission of Navarro College. It involves several components:

• The topic will focus on a specific aspect of student learning

• The topic must emerge from systematically exploring our students’ strengths and areas needing development, with input from students, faculty, administration, and staff

• The QEP must be feasible and measurable using accepted assessment methods

• The QEP must be supported by the College financially, administratively, and have faculty support

• A crucial component of our reaccreditation process for 2016- It is a Core Requirement and Comprehensive Standard

• Increased technology and technology support in all math classrooms

• New instructional classroom techniques

• Faculty will conduct pilot testing of technologies and other strategies in support of engagement and deeper learning
