Life’s Lessons for the Real World

I’ve learned that you cannot make someone like you.

All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I’ve learned that even if it doesn't work, there is something healthy and invigorating about direct action.

I’ve learned that when life hands you a lemon, say, "Oh yeah, I like lemons. What else you got?”

I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes –

After that, you’d better have good looks or a big stick!

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others- they are more screwed up than you think.

I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are superintendents.

I’ve learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down, will be the ones who do.

I’ve leaned that we don’t have to ditch bad friends, because their dysfunction make us feel better about ourselves.

I’ve learned that people who never get carried away should be!

I’ve learned that when you come to a fork in the road, take it!
