What have you learnt about technologies from

the process of constructing this product?

I had never used Blogger before this

project, but this was to be the means through

which I was to display my work and media

products created throughout this project.

Confusing to start with, I quickly learnt how to

properly use Blogger and became confident in

using it to display my work. While it would not

have been my first choice to use, after this

project I would definitely use it again for similar

circumstances.

This was the website I used most out of all. Here I uploaded my

photographs, media products etc. and then transferred them to this

blog, or used Flickr to annotate them. Free and easy to get to grips with, Flickr was most definitely one of the most helpful technologies in

this project.

The program I used most out of all, I used Photoshop to edit and create all of my media products, including my

preliminary and my finished ones. Having used

Photoshop several times before, I was confident in using

it and found it easy to use to create my media

products. Equipped with a wide array of tools and using a few tutorials I found online, I felt confident that I could

create professional looking products with Photoshop.

I had never used Survey Monkey before this

project, but when presented with it, I found it

immensely helpful and easy to use. Being able to

create a survey in 10 minutes, distribute it in 5

minutes, and receive answers instantly, telling me

what people expected in a music magazine helped

shape my own magazine accordingly. If I need to

create another survey in the future, I shall definitely

be using Survey Monkey.

Slideshare is a free online service that allows users to upload presentations, like this one, onto the site to share

with others online. I have never used slideshare before this

project, but found it easy to get to grips with and use. I will

most likely use this software again in the future for other

projects.

Overall, I have used a wide array

of different technologies for this

project. I have learnt how to use a

new set of technologies while

becoming more adept and

confident in technologies I was

already familiar with.
