FINAL CUT PRO

Throughout the process of making my film I was able to use a editing

programme called final cut pro. The software allows us to transfer a

video onto a hard drive, where it can be edited, processed, and put in a

wide variety of formats. Before we did this with our final product we

got to have an hour lesson just practicing and learning our way around

the programme. It allowed me to understand how to put certain shots

or certain sections of a shot into order. It also allowed me to put

transitions in to make the extract flow without jumping to on scene to

another.

Once I got the hang of using Final Cut it was easy to use.

HD CAMCORDER

Also when filming I learned how to use a small HD camcorder. This

allowed me to become more familiar which with handling the

camera itself. Where as I am used to using me camera on my

IPhone! The camera have a highly developed sensor which allows

good noise reduction to performance, records bright, high quality.

It also has a zoom making it possible for you to capture everything

when filming.

ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES

There are many advantages to using final cut pro and a high

definition camera. By using a HD camera it allows you to film and

transport all your footage on to the apple mac and then on to final

cut pro. Final cut as a system that even if you ex of the

programme your work is automatically saved so it will never be

lost. A camera will have a memory card in it and a disadvantage

to this could be that you use up all your memory and have to get a

new one and if the process of doing this you could lose the old

one with your footage on it.
