Turned down by a recording company saying “We don't like their sound and guitar music is on the way out”. They were talking about the Beatles.

Told by a music teacher "as a composer he is hopeless" – Beethoven.

Fired from a newspaper because he "lacked imagination and had no original ideas" - Walt Disney.

Steve Jobs

Apple Founder and Former CEO Steve Jobs may be one of the greatest innovators of all time, but even this tech genius's career hit a problem. Ousted from the company he helped to build (Apple) in 1985, Jobs felt despair and rejection but funnelled his energy into new ventures (like Pixar) before returning to Apple in 1996. He went on to change the digital world by inventing amongst other things the ipad and iphone and thereby saving the company.

Other so called famous failures!! He wasn’t able to speak until he was 4 years old. His

teachers said in his reports that he would never amount to much. (Albert Einstein, Theoretical physicist. Nobel prize winner)

Was demoted from her job as a news presenter because she was not fit for TV. (Oprah Winfrey, One of the most influential women in the world)

At age 11 he was dropped from his football team after being diagnosed with a growth deficiency which made him smaller in stature than most of his peers. (Llionel Messi, 4 time World FIFA Player of the year)

High school drop out who’s personal problems led to an unsuccessful suicide attempt. (Eminem, 13 times Grammy winner, sold over 90 million albums worldwide.
