A Dinner ConversationA Dinner Conversation

The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life. 

One man, a big, important corporate executive, decided decided to explainto explain the the problem with problem with education.education.

He stated firmly,

Then he reminded the other dinner guests what they say about teachers: 

"Those who can, do. "Those who can, do.

To stress his point he said to another guest:

"You're a teacher, Bonnie.  "You're a teacher, Bonnie.  Be honest now. What do Be honest now. What do you make?"you make?"

Bonnie, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied, “Do you really want to know what I make?"

This was adapted from a poem written by Taylor Mali. I was unaware of that fact when I created this power point.

I had taken what I thought was an anonymous poem sent through email (cyber-inspiration) and figured it was not anyone’s copyrighted work.
