We asked respondents to expand on their answer to the above question.

Here are some of them:

We need a stable and growing economy

It would be a disaster to leave the EU

Small businesses starting out should pay lower tax for a minimum period of 3-5 years to enable expansion and growth

We pay all our employees well above the minimum wage but we are concerned about upward pressure to raise all wages if the minimum wage is increased significantly

We need to sack all the politicians and put in a government of technocrats

Reduce corporation

tax

Make the banks help

small business

Stop wasting time with

sound-bites and short-term measures —

instead focus on a long-term plan of

action

Encourage local trade

Cut red tape

I hope they continue EIS/SEIS

Stop zero hour contracts. It gives big

the resources to manage it. It is also

highly iniquitous
