For me, 2012 was filled with ups and downs. It was the year I walked away from full-time employment to concentrate on my business.  That is a scary thing to do. Some might call me brave, others might call me stupid, but in my heart I knew it was the right thing to do and in the words of Susan Jeffers, I’m a big believer that we should “feel the fear and do it anyway”

Another of my favourite sayings is

“there is no failure, only feedback…”

It is an NLP presupposition and you may not agree that there is  ”no such thing as failure” but to me it is a state of mind.

No matter how something goes there is always something that we can, and should learn.

I recently did my first webinar. I admit I was (very) nervous, but I felt the fear and I did it anyway.

I didn’t get as many people registering as I would have liked. I also missed a few points out that I had intended to mention.

So could it have been better? Yes!

Did I learn anything? Loads!

Would I do it again? You bet! I’m already planning two for January and will be doing them regularly during a group coaching program that I am creating for 2013.

So was it a failure? Absolutely not!

The feedback I got from the experience is going to help me to get my message out to more working mums as I continue to do more and better webinars.

Plus as an introvert I’m quite proud that I pushed through my comfort zone and recovered from not being able to remember the webinar password 1 minute before it was due to start
