    What qualifies as a sport? There are some obvious examples of sports, such as football and basketball, but hat about activities like !olf

    and dance? The "lympic #ames accepts sports on the definition that a sport is an activity that demonstrates physical athleticism ordexterity, but not everyone a!rees$ Some people assert that, in order for somethin! to be counted as a le!itimate sport, there needs to becompetition that does not necessarily need a %ud!e or a referee$ This interpretation ould imply that activities such as sim, !olf, andtrack do not technically qualify for the title of sport, but rather should be counted as somethin! different$ The &"'S cross country team
