Reuse and Trade Waste

Reuse

Your unwanted items could still be of use to someone else. There are lots of ways to sell or give away unwanted things.

• Consider donating to a local charity. They need all types of household items, including clothing, toys, bric-a-brac and many can collect larger items of furniture.

• Sell at a local car boot sale.

• Search on-line for local web or Facebook groups where items can be sold or given away free to MK residents.

• House clearance firms will clear homes and make a charitable donation from their profits. Many items are re-used for community projects, some charges may apply.

Trade Waste

This includes any waste from businesses, landlords, non-residents of Milton Keynes and anyone carrying waste for other people.

Trade Waste can only be taken to our Newport Pagnell site. Please arrive 30 minutes before closing time.

Charges will be applied at rates advertised at the HWRC and can also be found at www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/trade-disposal

Payments by cash or credit card are accepted on site.
