Why did I move from Blogger to Wordpress?
Wordpress had and still has more blogging tools– Import feature from multiple sources– Static pages apart from posts– Password protection on posts– “Cleaner” look, though Blogger has almost infinite customizable themes!– Ad-sense was not a feature that could stop me from moving from Blogger– At some point of time, I would like to move to externally hosted Wordpress
blog
Wordpress is ‘cool’ for blogging– Comments handling is far superior
• ‘Reply to’ comment email and end with !END straight from Inbox!– Wordpress.com is always adding newer features

Which is an easier option? What factors influence the decision?
• Find a good paid host• Install Wordpress• Add some plug-ins• Integrate everything

Does the number of hits matter to me?
Average hits per day at The Integral: 60 (current)– An ordinary blogger gets anything between 10-100 hits a day– A very popular blogger gets 100-500 hits a day– Marketing blogs can get anywhere from 1K to 1M hits a day!– Theme based personal blogs end up getting 100-1000 hits a day
Number of subscribers – Whats that?
Blogger vs Wordpress when it comes to search results– Google indexes Blogspot blogs instantaneously– Wordpress.com users always suffer indexing issues
But it’s ok!
Yes it does matter, but I wont stop blogging even if nobody reads
