and it`s improving each year dueto the waste water purifying

plants.

iI want to know what pollutes the river Mura and drinking

water resources in Gornja Radgona?

Water pollution is caused by:• Farming (pesticides),

• Dirty water (wastewater),• Softeners,

• Incorrect sorting of waste and

• Waste disposal near water esources.

Interesting! And now we want to know how and what

processes can we clean water with?

We can get rid of iron, mangan and sand with

filtration of water and with biological decomposition (we add NaOCl- sodium

hypochlorite) we destroy harmful bacteria.

And what about usage of water in Gornja Radgona?

An average person uses 3-5 m³ water per month (100-150 l

daily).

The usage of water in G. Radgona is not increasing and it is about 2 milion l

per year. The usage is bigger in summer months and decreases in winter

months.

How do you inform people?

We inform people with leaflets on billboards,

with brochures and with mails.

Are there any problems with water in Gornja Radgona?

Yes, we have got some problems with water. In the former few

weeks the level of drinking water has reached a minimum limit due

to the long lasting drought .

SO WE HAVE TO SAVE DRINKING WATER TO OVERCOME THE MOST

SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH DRINKING WATER RESOURCES IN THE FORMER

5 DECADES !

So, we found out that we must take care of our water resources. Many things are polluting water, and there

are many processes to clean water.
