The  Li'le  Red  Hen

A  long  7me  ago  there  was  a  hen  who  was  making  a  coconut  cake.  “Who  wants  to  help  me  put  the  egg  yolk  in?’’  Exclaimed  the  enthusias7c  hen.  “Not  I,”  said  the  porcupine.  “Not  I,”  said  the  horse.  “Not  I,’’  said  the  panda.  “Not  I,’’  said  the  snake.  “Then  I  guess  I’ll  do  it.  Clucky,  clucky  clucky,  cluck.  She  ran  to  the  market  bought  flour  and  ran  back  home.  

       “Then  I  guess  I’ll  do  it.  ,  ’’  sighed  the  hen.        “Clucky,  clucky,  cluck.  Who  will            help  me  bake  the  cake?  ’’  said  hen.  “Not  I’’  poked  the  porcupine.  “Not  I’’  neighed  the  horse.  “Not  I’’  yelled  the  panda.  “Not  I’’  hissed  the  snake.  

Who  will  help  me  mix  the  flour  with  the  egg  yolk?”  “Not  I,’’  exclaimed  the  porcupine.  “Not  I,’’  remarked  the  horse.  “Not  I,’’  squealed  the  panda.  “Not  I,’’  yelled  the  snake.  

   “Then  I  guess  I’ll  do  it.  Clucky  ,  cluck,  cluck.’’  The  next  morning  the  cake  was  ready.  Snake  slithered  into  the  kitchen.  Horse  danced  into  the  kitchen.  Panda  crawled  into  the  kitchen.  Porcupine  scurried  into  the  kitchen.  “Who  will  help  me  eat  this  cake?  “Not  un7l  you  apologize  for  not  helping  me  make  the  cake.  “We  are  sorry’’  ,  they  said  in  unison.  “I  forgive  you’’,  said  the  hen.  They  ate  the  cake  together  and  learned  a  valuable  lesson.
