This is an important initiative that has great bearing on the care of children worldwide. As you know, many children who die worldwide die as a result of sepsis-related conditions. The World Sepsis Day Declaration is an effort to bring public awareness to the issue of sepsis globally as well as engage policy makers, clinicians, patients and families, and to raise funds to achieve the outlined goals. It is important that we participate in this fully. With this in mind, I would appreciate if you could distribute this widely in your area and seek volunteers to act as ambassadors for this very important initiative. Please forward the names of volunteers to our Executive Manager Sandrine Bobinet ([email protected]). I will then be in touch to issue a formal invitation and apprise of ongoing plans. Please see the World Sepsis Day Declaration letter This is an important initiative that has great bearing on the

care of children worldwide

As you know many children who die worldwide die as a result of sepsis-related conditions The World Sepsis Day

Declaration is an effort to bring public awareness to the issue of sepsis globally as well as engage policy makers

clinicians patients and families and to raise funds to achieve the outlined goals

The train-the-trainers exchange is a grounded

human resource development program which is best

expressed by ldquogive a man a fish and he will eat for a

day but when you teach a man to fish and he has

fish for the rest of his life This model of training

provides long term sustainability for it enables the

development of own institutional capabilities in

meeting up with the skills needs of their staff
