Sometimes... the ONLY thing standing in your way is a lack of

How To Make Healing Changes:
1. Clean Out The Kitchen2. Clean Out Your Mind
Re-think!1. Re-Stock the Kitchen2. Re-Stock Your Mind
Step 1: Clean the Kitchen Out:
● packaged junk food
● anything refined● processed crap● enriched, fortified foods● anything with ingredients you cannot pronounce● products with more than 6 or so ingredients
What to avoid in packaged foods: Please Read Labels!
● hydrogenated & partially hydrogenated oils● corn syrup● high fructose corn syrup● artificial colors and flavors VANILLIN● preservatives● fructose● glucose syrup● maltose, dextrose● anything you can not pronounce and are certain does NOT grow in a real garden or barnyard
Step 2: Where to find good food:● your backyard, grow some!● local farmers markets & farm stands● CSA's: Check www.Gardenshare.org● the farmers down the road, they may be growing amazing stuff!● Potsdam Food Coop, Nature's Storehouse, health food stores, health food section of grocery stores● food buying clubs (WholeShare)
Step 3: Make food an art:Learn to play with herbs and spices, mixing flavors you normally would not mix; like cinnamon in tomato soup or basil in an apple salad.Mix colors and flavors.Put good energy into your food. Your energy in the kitchen: playful, love, fun, angry, or frustrated gets infused into the food. Be a happy, artistic cook. It better feeds everyone's mind, body, and soul (including yours!).Think outside the box of Betty Crocker's cookbook. No offense to Betty, of course!
