WOMEN FOR EUROPE 5 - Hanasaari, Espoo, Finland, March, 2014-

After Tuusula, You welcome in Hanasaari the Multi-Year Project “Women for Europe, the Role of Inner Wheel”, with a fifth edition entirely dedicated to the sustainability of our planet. A Conference of great importance and relevance, in which Inner Wheel proves to be an Organization interested and active, even at environmental issues.

The opening to Sustainable Development took place in the fourth edition, Turin in November 2011, during the International Colloquium WOMEN FOR EUROPE 4 - THE ROLE OF INNER WHEEL TOWARDS EUROPE 2020, where Europe 2020 is the EU's growth strategy for this decade, having set five ambitious objectives - on employment, innovation, education, social inclusion and climate/energy - to be reached by 2020

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES OF EU FOR THE PERIOD 2020-2030.

But today we are over, because the European Commission has presented just on January 22nd 2014, both to Parliament and to the Council of Europe, a number of interesting documents, articulating its general proposal, in relation to the framework of energy and environmental policies of EU for the period 2020-2030.

I’m sure that the qualified debate that will animate the two study days in Hanasaari, will be a valuable contribution to the cause and the new goals; confirming once again, the value of Inner Wheel, even as social and cultural presence in the debate ongoing, aimed in the search for solutions and best practices.
