Environmentally Minded in All We Do

2

Our responsibility as a corporation goes far beyond protecting our customers’ assets and helping them succeed financially. We’re responsible for promoting the long-term economic prosperity and quality of life for everyone in our communities. If they prosper, so do we. There’s never been a thriving bank in a struggling community. We’re also responsible for managing the environmental impacts of our operations so the natural resources we use today are protected and preserved for future generations.

– John Stumpf; Wells Fargo Chairman, President, and CEO

Acting on our convictions — in our world, in our neighborhoods, and inside our own walls

Reducing the impact of our operations and practicing environmental responsibility in each neighborhood where we do business

Investing in our communities, financing environmental projects, and promoting local economies

Accelerating a cleaner, more sustainable economy by financing “greener” business and making sure that our investments positively impact the environment

Children & Nature Network – MN Project

Actions we’re taking in our communities

The Children & Nature Network is fueling the worldwide grassroots movement to create a future in which all children play, learn and grow with nature in their everyday lives. As part of a $98,000 grant from Wells Fargo, Children & Nature Network and Wells Fargo Volunteers will plant trees and other plant species in Conway Park, plant flowers and do spring clean up in Children's Garden, engage children in nature-related library activities and provide leadership for sustainability and future greening projects

This project is based on the growing body of research indicating that direct exposure to nature is essential for healthy childhood development and for the physical and emotional health of children and adults
