Medication Policy
■ Medications are not available in school unless provided by parents. Medication must be accompanied by a Doctor’s written order and a parent signature.This includes over the counter medication!Forms are available from the nurse or district website.
When to keep your child home!
• Fever of 100 or over, children should be kept home until fever free for 24 hours
• Conjunctivitis or pink eye
• Rashes accompanied by illness or fever
• No episodes of diarrhea or vomiting for 24 hours
Food Allergies
■ Notify School Nurse of any Food or Life
Threatening Allergies your child may have.
■ Have your child’s Doctor complete the
Food Allergy Action Plan. (link to district website).
■ Complete Allergy Self-Management form
and submit to School Nurse. (link to district
website).
■ Bring all medications to school on first day.

• Vision k thru 12
• Hearing k thru 3, 7 and 11
• Height, weight and BMI k thru 12
• Scoliosis screening 6 and 7
• Lead Testing for Kindergarten 2018-19
