LIFE DRAWING

LIFE DRAWING 1Traditional Mixes – pencil, graphite, charcoal, ink… clay & featherA modern relaxed approach to life drawing. This is a chance for everyone who attends, be they beginner or more a more experienced “lifer”, to enjoy, experiment and express themselves. Using multiple styles and media, the class will be fun and sometimes fast and furious. We will begin with traditional media and then experiment with mixing media and techniques to produce not only life model drawings, but also ‘full-of-life’ drawings. Examples of artists from across the generations will provide inspiration and ideas for the use of a variety of techniques. By the end of the class you will have produced some vibrant and energetic pieces through a mix of short and longer poses. Whatever your level or age, drawing the human form in all its amazing glory is a very rewarding art form.

Each of the three courses will explore the subject through different themes and media – they can be taken individually or at a discount when booked together. The cost of three courses will be £180 full price or £150 early bird price. Materials will cost £8 per person.
