About Western Motorsports

• Western Motorsports is a group of professionals withextensive experience in organizing motorsport events.

• We have our headquarters at Jaipur in Rajasthan, yetour marshals and officials join us from all over India .

OUR MOTO :

• To bring motor sports to the masses by organizingactivities round the year in form of Rallies, OTRs, Ridesetc.

The Events so far………

• Indian Motor Car Rally 2008 - A 5 day, 2000km TSD event for Breast Cancer

Awareness.

• JK Tyre The Monsoon Ride 2009- The first event organized under our banner in

partnership with JK Tyres. A 90km TSD event organized with the endeavor of covering the

forgotten historical sites of Rajasthan.

• Chalchitra Expedition 2009- The first of it’s kind, an expedition of 2000kms of

fabulous landscape, in collaboration with BYOFF(Bring Your Own Film Festival) and Tourism

Welfare Society of Rajasthan to produce The Ultimate Rajasthan Road Movie Trip.

• Polaris ATV Challenge 2009- A 2 day event covering 80kms of grueling and diverse

terrain, split into 7 stages. Organized in collaboration with Polaris and Trans Asia Distribution to

execute the first ever ATV Rally of India.

• JK Tyre The Monsoon Ride 2010- The team joins hand with JK Tyres once again to

organize the annual TSD event, covering 400kms of the beautiful Aravallis, on extreme terrains

of rock, tarmac, mud and slush.

• CanKids Women’ Car Rally 2011 - This event was executed for an NGO in support of

children with Cancer . Event traversed through Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh , Punjab and

Himachal Pradesh.

from New Delhi by Hamida

Jodhpur and Jaipur.

JK Tyre The Monsoon Ride’09

52 entries were received for The Monsoon Ride ’09. The rally was conducted in two legs 180kms in

total, spanning 180kms in total. The rally started from the picturesque Jal Mahal to the ruins of

Bhangarh and back to Jaipur touching the majestic Amber and Pratapgarh forts.

First ever ATV event of INDIA

This was the first ever ATV event of India held on the outskirts of Jaipur in very demanding and treacherous

terrains amidst heavy rains.

Rally was flagged off by Late His Highness Bhawani Singh Ji, The Maharaja of Jaipur

Winners were mostly amongst the newbie's barring a few veterans. Pooja Sharma the overall first in

the rally, beat over 20 boys to come first in her own category. We also had competitors who are

physically challenged but overcame all their disabilities to compete in the open category. Ms. Deepa

Mehta & Dr. Bipin Amin, being felicitated for their outstanding efforts.

The event was organised to cover a total stretch of 300kms. 88 entries were received for The

Monsoon Ride ’10. The rally started from Jal Mahal to Alwar Bagh, Alwar and back through Sariska,

Pratapgarh and Amer.

3rd CanKids Women’s Car Rally’ 2011

A three day event executed to support children suffering with cancer. Event was flaggedoff from New Delhi by Chief Minister Sheila Dixit. From Delhi to Chandigarh we hadTreasure Hunt along with cancer awareness raising. From Chandigarh we had TSD Rallytraversing through states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, next day it was aspeed run Ropar to Patiala.

The Monsoon Ride’ 2011

• The Monsoon Ride is an annual motorsport rally organized by

Western Motorsports

• This year’s rally will be held from 29th July to 31st July, 2011

• It is a TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) rally involving participation in

car, motorcycle, and scooter categories for both men and women

• Rally will be flagged off from Jaipur and traverse 300 Kms of bold

and beautiful terrain in the Aravali Mountain range

• Rally will go through historical sites to, promote heritage and

adventure tourism through our event.

• There will be 15 hrs of thrill and nonstop action

• The event is affiliated to FMSCI – The Federation of Motor Sports

Clubs of India, which is the national body recognized by the

Government of India and affiliated to Indian Olympic Association
