Thank you, to all the families that donated flip flops for the team to take to Tanzania. They were able to take 80 pairs with them, which will be a huge blessing to the various villages where they will be dispersed. Your help with this special outreach project is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for choosing WVCA to partner with you during the 2010/2011 school year in the provision of a Christ-centered education. It has been our pleasure to care for, educate, guide and pray for each family enrolled in kindergarten – eighth grade. Have a blessed summer and we hope to see you in the fall.

The nominations were based on academic excellence and/or leadership potential.

Box Tops: Thank you for your continued support in bringing in Box Tops. We want the children to remember to save Box Tops over the summer.
Keep using your Safeway, Raley’s, & SaveMart S.H.A.R.E.S. cards during the summer. Using one or all of these cards is an easy way for the school to earn money with no extra cost to you.
Car Show Update: Many people were responsible for the overwhelming success of our 3rd WVCA Car Show. Brooke Gant led a team of people that contributed their time, talents and finances to ensure everyone involved would have a good time at the Car Show as well as at the dinner. The following people were instrumental in why this event was enjoyed by all who attended: Amanda Maes, Trisha & Ed Lyons, Chip Seals & Stephanie Brown. The desserts were donated by WVCA staff members. Thank you Mrs. Varvell for everything you did to help and Ms. Chubeck for coordinating the raffle baskets. Thank you also to our Student Council Leadership and Mrs. C. Smith for all their help and hard work throughout the day. There were many more behind the scenes volunteers. Thank you for your commitment, dedication, and labor of love.
The following students had over 250 community service hours and will be given a special award by the Mayor on May 17th at the Tracy City Hall Meeting; Bolaji Akinyemi, Alexis Festejo, Meairra Grayson, Logan Le, Hunter Luna, Alex McIntyre, Alex McNely, Gabriel Murphy, Clarise Panigbatan, Alexa Parco, Bailee Parco, Corinne Parco, Alexander Sia, David Summers & William Tam. The following awards were handed out at the 5th grade DARE graduation on April 13, 2011. Logan Le was the DARE leader. The role models for the 5th grade DARE program were Hunter Luna & Corinne Parco. The essay winner was Alex McNely.

There are many items in the lost and found and we would like for you to take the time before school ends to go through the lost and found with your child. The donation date is May 27th.
We would like to welcome those of you who have enrolled in West Valley Christian Academy for the fall. Please remember the following: An annual building/maintenance fee of $50.00 per family (not per student) will be due with your first tuition payment in August. This yearly fee will be used for building maintenance and repairs that are needed to keep the building and grounds in good condition.
Tuition is to be paid August through May. School is in session for 9 months but tuition is paid over 10 months. The first tuition payment will be due no later than August 10th. A late fee of 5% will be accessed if paid after the 10th. The first day of school is 9/6/11. We look forward to partnering with you in a Christian education for your child/ren. Parents are always invited to our chapel services every Wednesday. Kindergarten through 8th Grade has chapel at 8:45-9:15. Don’t forget to send your child to school in proper chapel attire EVERY Wednesday.

All classes Kindergarten through eighth grade will participate in Field Day activities. All students will have a picnic lunch on the field with their teacher. Hot dogs will be provided.
