The night’s session by

Aps. Daniel Hanafi was especially inspiring and convicting for all participants. Aps. Danny

equated their pastoral calling to the responsibility of a eunuch. They were challenged to “cut off” their personal desire to become famous,

rich, and significant for the sake of the Bride of Christ, God’s Church in Africa. Almost all of them came forward as Aps. Danny gave the

altar call.

The morning before the conference was adjourned, Aps. Chris ex-horted with a powerful teaching for all African pastors - to elevate their minds, from having a slave mentality into a giver mentality. He plainly explained that IFGF GISI came to Africa not with the promise of finan-cial support. Instead, IFGF GISI came by investing in genuine rela-tionship and empowering them with biblical teachings in order to break the culture of always being the recipient. He then closed the conference by challenging every pastor to seriously adopt good cor-porate governance by contributing financially to the East Africa RO. All in all, they went home feeling really blessed and empowered to minister in their respective churches and communities.
