DRAGON Below: Grosso is about to
catch the snap at the Norborne Pirates Game.
The Red Dragon of 2005 brought an exciting brand of football to WMA. Inspired by Senior Captains Nick Grosso, Kenny French, Jack Chambers, and Morgan Campbell, the Dragons had a very successful season. From the double overtime win at Polo (which established us as a true conference contender) to the heart breaking loss at Braymer (which knocked us out as conference champions), the Red Dragons of 2005 will long be remembered as one of the most talented and exciting teams to play for WMA. We amassed over 2500 yards of total offense, and averaged 25 points per game while giving up only 16 points per game; it was truly a GREAT year!!! - Coach Grosso

Coach's Comments This team was a great experiment in trying to bring together cadets and civilians into
a single team. It was a great success, if you look at the improvement in the teams wrestling ability on results on the mat. The civilian presence helped the cadet wrestlers
to improve remarkably faster than years past. The civilians gained quite a bit from being around the military environment and working with the cadets toward common
goals. All in all I am very proud of what we accomplished this year. - Brad Fischer

From the office of Public Affairs Wentworth wrestling coach Brad Fischer was

Excellence Award" at the NCAA Division 1 wrestling championships....The inscription on the Bob Bubb plaque presented to Fischer reads "In
recognition of your outstanding accomplishments as a college coach who epitomizes the qualities and characteristics of a role model and mentor for developing young student athletes," Fischer states, "If I can follow Bob Bubb's example, then that's the path to greatness. I don't want my
athletes to look back at me in twenty years and say that I was only concerned about their ability
to wrestle." Fischer is true to his word as his 2005 junior college wrestling team had the highest grade point average (GPA) in the nation.

Halloween is a time to dress up and scare spirits, to make them think you are one of them. But at WMA, it's a time to see what a person is like outside of the school, or maybe just to see someone make a
complete fool of themselves. For example, C/lLTRickard, who dressed as a streaker, C/Lindemann who was an aviator, or C/Coate who was an Arabian Knight. All in all no one forgets this night.
