WENDIT WATER PARK

Wendit water park is located in the village of Mangliawan, Pakis, Malang and ± 8 km from center of Malang city. Some historians claim that the name of ‘’wendit’’comes from the word ‘’Wendito’’ .the meaning is Pendito or Pastor. The origin of wedit are happened because of a shift in Mount Widodaren. It made Tengger’s people so difficult to take holy water in springs Widodaren because steep slopes.

Because of that difficulty, the Pandito meditated to ‘Sang Hyang Widhi Widodaren’ Wasa around the mountain in order to get directions where splashing fountain Widodaren lead. Revelation came down, the Pandito get the splash of water Widodaren revelation leads to Malang. Because of the breadth of Malang, pendito was took the Mangliawan hill as a meditation. After meditating for a few months, finally came out a sacred spring and cool. Springs are also give many advantage,the example you can get many sustenance. so this place called Wendito or Wendit until now.

After Wendit was founded , There are command for royal courtier from the Tengger tribe with some monkeys to keep these springs, and until now the monkeys remain stable. because wendit springs was emit a pure and beautiful springs. finally after a few years later, wendit used as one of the tourist attractions in malang,That provides Swimming Pool, Paddle Boats, Water Technology, Waterboom, Car Bombs; Worm Coaster, RestoranFood Centre, Outbound, cottages etc.
