Well, I hope you learned more about Magnolia Manner and the League of the Good Samaritan from our guest speaker Rev. Henry Bass. It is a commitment we as United Methodists made years ago to our seniors. The Good Samaritan League helps cover the cost for seniors with financial difficulty who live at Magnolia Manor. Hopefully you were uplifted by Rev. Bass’ sermon. He usually gives a practical and uplifting message.

We start back our Wednesday night suppers August 21. We are all ready for these times of fellowship and learning.

I'd also like to share some exciting news! We have hired Mollie Inman as our new Director of Young Learners Academy. Please welcome her when you see her.

See you Sunday,

If you love young children and your schedule allows, we’d love to call on you when a teacher needs to be out or when we just need extra help for special events. Substitute teachers hours are generally 8am-noon as needed and we do offer hourly pay. Subs can sign up for M -F or only on specific days of the week and of course have the freedom to say no if they aren’t available when called.

A background check is required. Please contact Mollie Inman by August 5 at [email protected] if you are interested in learning more about this great opportunity to be a part of the ministry of Young Learners.
