X-Mass TreeDefinition:-It is the x-over between the tubing and the flow line

It is selected depending on • rating pressure

• artificial lift used

•Loads of W/L & CTU operation.

2- Tubing hanger (TBG HGR)

This is the device used to transfer the TBG weight to the well head & seal annulus fluids.

Types of hanger

•Mandrel type ( under compression)

•Ram type HGR ( under tension)

TBG HGR usually has three threads1- Bottom for connection with TBG (box)2-Middle for BPV & 2WCV setting.3-Top for landing with landing joint (box).

it is to seal off the tubing so that repairs or removal of the tree can be performed, or the installation or removal of blowout preventers. This particular model can be pumped through if need be. The valve is installed in a threaded profile in the tubing hanger, and has an equalizing feature to relieve any differential that may be present at the time it is to be pulled. Installation and removal of the valve should be done with the use of a special lubricator. The valve is capable of handling a 15,000 psi differential.

This valve is capable of holding pressure from both directions. And, like its counterpart on the previous page, is installed in a threaded profile in the tubing hanger.it is used when the tree is pressure tested. And it can withstand differential pressures up to 15,000 psi.
