The intelligent rung

OBO has reinvented the rung and patented it. Its well-thought-outhole pattern is perfectly tailored to the requirements of all kinds of in-dustrial installations. The special feature: The rungs can be filled onboth sides. This means that the ladder can be equipped flexiblywhilst its carrying capacity can be used to the optimum. The result:Smaller ladder widths are often sufficient during mounting.

Rungs – reimagined

The double-sided filling of the rungs allows flexible installation and of-fers the maximum of installation space. The rungs are perfectlymatched to the fastening elements (e.g. the U clamp, type 2056).

The welded cable ladder offers major advantages in horizontal andfree-standing mounting. However, it is also extremely practical when itis mounted directly on the wall.

Free space

With wall mounting, the well-thought-out construction of thecable ladders ensures a spacingof approx. 5 millimetres betweenthe rung and the wall. Thisprovides space during the install-ation.

Tested safety

The BET Test CentreIn our in-house BET Test Centre, OBO simulatesthe loads which the welded cable ladder systemshave constantly to withstand. We determine themaximum load capacity and carrying capacity ofthe system, as well as its resistance to corrosion.We are able to prove standardised testing of EMCproperties using test reports. This means that, as asystems provider, OBO places paramount import-ance on safety.
